MA VIES EST UN OPERA - CD

PRESS | Read today in the Sunday release of LE PARISIEN the interview of Roberto Alagna by Séverine Garnier.

Excerpt: "The heroes of the lyrical literature, Werther, Don José, Romeo, Hoffmann shaped me. They were my therapy, my tools to erase my complex." "My life is an opera" sometimes exudes a dark tone, as evidenced by this aria of "la Reine de Saba" from Gounod which evokes the "weakness of the human race." "I am also a little dark, the artist tells us, a bit Russian. As most Sicilians who know that Syracuse was once more powerful than Rome, I have this inner nostalgia." In this aria by Gounod, his character asks Gods' help ... And Roberto does the same with the muses: "Inspire me! Do I succeed in my mission, let this disc be well accomplished!". And the "Amen" is a great laugh.
