« Emotion and enthusiastic ovations for this #Pagliacci and a luxury cast »

EXCERPT: "The quality of the vocal technique, the robustness of the performance and the acting, the dramatic characterization of the characters and an obvious teamwork prevailed. The discerning audience has gratified the protagonists with prolonged and well-deserved ovations, defying conventions by letting out loud applause at the end of each aria. An audience that has not taken its eye off the actors, perhaps to better explore the argument and the action, to appreciate the technique and the dramatic rendition, to attend the challenge of "Vesti la giubba", the aria which ended the first act with a masterly performance by Roberto Alagna, or simply get carried away by the heartbreaking emotion of the orchestration."
